The Fixed Monitoring system comprises a network of sensors placed under the Hylam IQ Geomembrane. These sensors, linked by cables to a central control box, are connected to the Transmitter-Receiver and computer. The sensors receive a current density signal produced by the Transmitter and the data is acquired by the Receiver unit. The software plots the electrical anomaly (breach) in relationship to the sensor grid thus localising the breach.
