The Hylam IQ system comprises of a unique composite geomembrane, coupled with a tailored electronic leak detection package developed for DRC by SENSOR IEP-DRC's technology partner.

The geomembrane composite is a laminate of DRC's Hylam FPA (Flexible Polypropylene Alloy), together with an electrically conductive PP geotextile.



HYLAM IQ FUNCTIONS
The basic system is called the MOBILE SYSTEM which allows for Hylam IQ liner integrity testing without any continuous monitoring. It is suitable for buried liner applications and effective on concrete substrates. Any breach in the liner is accurately detected.

The enhanced system is called the FIXED MONITORING SYSTEM and consists of the installation of sensors under the Hylam IQ Geomembrane. The sensors are attached by cables to a central monitoring box which can continuously monitor the liner integrity. Any breach in the liner is detected and localised.
